Why I Joined PDP – Obaseki Speaks on His Defection

Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki has revealed why he defected to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.

Recall that the governor defected to the PDP on Friday 48 hours after announcing his retirement from the ruling All Progressives Congress after he was disqualified by the party from participating in the primaries of the party.

Speaking after his defection, Obaseki who took to his official twitter handle @GovernorObaseki, announced that he has officially joined PDP to advance his ambition to seek re-election as Governor of Edo State.

Obaseki reiterated his commitment to engendering good governance and sustainable development of Edo state.
