PDP “Choreographed” NASS Siege, Police IG Should Be Sacked- Farouk Adamu

Former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Farouk Aliyu Adamu has revealed that last week Tuesday’s invasion of the National Assembly by the DSS was “choreographed” by the PDP.

Speaking on a weekly political show, Political Stew, on Television Continental, TVC, Adamu insisted that the siege that came up on the day was a premeditated attempt of the PDP, with the media also, a part of the arrangement.

He said; “Only PDP members were there and the media and everyone there was arranged by the PDP.”

He further stated that the two members of the APC present on that were almost lynched by the thugs allegedly paraded by the PDP.

Adamu also questioned the honesty of the Police in the case as he said the DSS beat some strict securities that raised eyebrows about the lack of involvement of the Police in the whole proceeding.

“How come the DSS were not stopped at the first gate which is close to the Eagle Square?” He also called for the head of the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris insisting that he has to be sacked as a matter of urgency. “The Police should be indicted. The IG should go immediately” Adamu said.

The Jigawa State former lawmaker boasted about the readiness of the APC to do “everything legally possible to remove Bukola Saraki as the Senate President” citing that the siege that came up did not have any APC members present at the National Assembly, as against the allegations made by the PDP.

Adamu further added that the return of President Buhari will lead to many people losing their jobs, like DSS boss, Lawal Daura. He said, “a lot of heads will roll when the President returns.”
