Tinubu Hails Nigerian Students’ Triumph at Global Contest

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian students — Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli — for their outstanding performance at the 2025 TeenEagle Global competition in London, United Kingdom.
Seventeen-year-old Nafisa emerged as the overall best in English language communication skills, 15-year-old Rukayya claimed the overall best title in debate, while Hadiza won the Outstanding Talent Award (gold medal).
The President praised the trio for bringing pride to the nation, noting that their achievements reflect the brilliance and promise of Nigeria’s youth. He also lauded their schools and the country’s education sector, describing the feat as proof of the system’s capacity to nurture some of the world’s brightest talents.
Reiterating his administration’s commitment to education as a cornerstone for national development, President Tinubu highlighted ongoing investments in the sector, including initiatives like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to eliminate financial barriers for less-privileged students.
He urged Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza to stay focused on their academic pursuits and wished them greater accomplishments in the future.
