Gov. Ugwuanyi Appointed Azikwe’s Son Special Adviser
Enugu state Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has appointed Mr Uwakwe Ukuta Azikiwe son of the late Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe as his special adviser on special duties.
A press statement issued by Special Adviser to the governor on media, Louis Amoke, said the appointment was in recognition of the contributions of late Nnamdi Azikiwe to the development of the Igbo nation and the country at large.
The governor also noted that the appointment of Azikiwe’s son was based on merit and on the conviction that his wealth of experience and contributions would add value to the efforts of his administration to impact positively on the lives of the people of the state.
