COAS’ Threat: IPOB members flee Nigeria in search of asylum

Following the invasion of the South Eastern parts of Nigeria in search of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra and the recent threat by the military hierarchy to clamp down on non-state actors, members of the IPOB have storm the diaspora in search of asylum.

One Tony Imo from Obollo Afo, Enugu State, told this medium who has been at the fore front of the struggle against the invasion of farm land in the Enugu and Anambra axis by the Fulani Herdsmen is presently on the run for his life as the military has allegedly declared him wanted.

While this could not be independently confirm from the military authority, the threat by the Chief of Army staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru to engage non state actors has further heightened the fear that members of the ESN and the IPOB will face a renew confrontations from the state.
