APC to Inaugurate Convention Coordination Committee Ahead of 2026 National Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced plans to inaugurate its 2026 National Convention Central Coordination Committee on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, as part of preparations for its upcoming national convention.

According to a statement issued on Monday in Abuja, the inauguration ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the NWC Hall of the party’s National Secretariat.

The committee will be chaired by former Katsina State Governor and ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Bello Masari. Former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, will serve as Vice Chairman I.

Also appointed is the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who will serve as Vice Chairman II. The Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has been named Treasurer, while Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, will serve as Secretary.

The APC said the committee will oversee and coordinate all activities leading to the party’s 2026 National Convention, with a mandate to ensure a smooth, peaceful, and successful exercise.

The party noted that the full list of committee members remains as previously released.
