Aisha Buhari jets out to London to see sick husband

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, on Tuesday departed Nigeria for the United Kingdom to see her ailing husband 23 days after he left for further medical consultations in the country.

In a brief statement the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Nigeria’s number one woman, Adebisi Olumide Ajayi said she was off to spend some time with her husband.

The release read, “Her Excellency will spend some time with her Husband the President Muhammadu Buhari who is presently on medical vacation.

“Mrs. Buhari expressed her appreciation to the millions of Nigerians who have been praying for his quick recovery and safe return.”

President Buhari traveled for further medical consultations earlier this month.
