Man disrupts night vigil with a cutlass over noise pollution

A tense scene recently unfolded at a church in Abia State after an elderly man caused a disruption with a c¥tlass during an ongoing night vigil service.

In a viral video circulating online, the visibly agitated man, whose sleep appeared to have been disturbed by the noise from the church, can be seen shouting repeatedly at a younger man – who is likely the pastor – demanding that he leaves the building.

Despite several people urging him to calm down, the man refused, raising his voice and insisting. Efforts by bystanders to de-escalate the situation proved unsuccessful, as the confrontation continued to intensify.

The incident has since left many people divided online, with most of them supporting the action of the man and calling for better regulation of religious activities in the country.
