2027: Stakeholders in Nasarawa North endorse Tinubu, Governor Sule

Stakeholders under the aegis of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from Nasarawa North Senatorial District have unanimously endorsed President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for another term in office, as well as Governor Abdullahi Sule to represent the zone at the Senate come 2027.

The stakeholders made this known as part of their resolutions from a meeting held at the VIP Event Centre in Akwanga on Sunday.

The APC stakeholders equally endorsed Hon. J. J Umaru, member representing Akwanga/Wamba/Nasarawa-Eggon Federal Constituency for another term.

The stakeholders agreed that in the entire existence of Nasarawa State, no governor has performed like Governor Sule, stressing that they are proud of his leadership.

While highlighting the various development initiatives of the Governor in the zone and across the state, the stakeholders resolved that the only way they can appreciate Governor Sule is by making sure that he represents the zone at the Senate come 2027.

They equally appreciated President Tinubu for appointing sons and daughters of the zone at the federal level.

In his speech, convener of the meeting, Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Area, Hon. Safiyanu Isa Andaha, said the meeting became necessary in order to bring APC stakeholders from the zone together for the purpose of unity and forging a common front.

Also speaking, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Yakubu Kwanta, said by the mere presence of the array of dignitaries present at the meeting, the essence of the parley has been achieved.

Hon. Kwanta said the purpose of the meeting was to pass vote of confidence on President Tinubu, Governor Sule and Hon. J. J. Umaru.
