Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Jimoh Ibrahim, has been elected Chairman of the United Nations General Assembly’s Fifth Committee, the body responsible for overseeing the organisation’s budget, finance and administrative matters. The appointment places Nigeria in a key
