Renewed Hope Ambassadors Hail Oyebanji’s Re-Election, Set Sights on Osun Poll

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) have congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his landslide victory in Saturday’s governorship election, describing the outcome as a clear endorsement of his administration’s policies and achievements.

In a statement signed by Tunde Rahman, Director of Media and Publicity of the group, the RHA also commended the South-West Zonal Coordinator of the organisation and Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Dayo Adeyeye, as well as the Ekiti State Coordinator and the 16 Local Government Coordinators for their roles in securing the victory.

The group praised the people of Ekiti State for conducting what it described as a peaceful, transparent and well-attended election, while also commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for implementing reforms and policies that it said created an enabling environment for the APC’s success at the polls.

According to the statement, the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, Deputy Director-General and Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, and Secretary and Governor of Gombe State, Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya, alongside other governors, also played significant roles in the APC’s electoral success.

The group said the outcome reflected the confidence of Ekiti residents in Governor Oyebanji’s Shared Prosperity Agenda and its alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision for the country.

Looking ahead, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors said their focus would now shift to mobilising support for the APC ahead of the Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15, while continuing to promote the policies and achievements of President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The organisation noted that Governor Oyebanji’s first term recorded visible achievements in infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, healthcare and education, adding that his renewed mandate presents an opportunity to deliver even more development in a second term.

The group reaffirmed its commitment to supporting policies aimed at deepening development across Ekiti State and Nigeria, while urging the governor to remain inclusive and magnanimous in victory as he works to unite the people of the state for greater progress.
