OGUN HOST SOUTH-WEST GOVERNOR’S FORUM Omooba Risawe Ogun State Government has disclosed that it will host the meeting of the South West Governors’ Forum ,aimed to evaluate key areas of cooperation. This was made known on Thursday by Secretary to State Government, Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa in a press statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta,state capital. The scribe disclosed that, the scheduled date and time for the meeting is Monday, April,24, at 11am, while the venue is the Government House,Oke-Igbein,Abeokuta ‘The meeting is to further evaluate the key areas of cooperation that will foster unity and progress towards the development of the region’,Adeoluwa said. The Secretary to State Government added further that,the meeting will also explore areas of collaboration that would engender good governance. He said, some of the thematic areas to be discussed are:Export development initiatives for the Western region,Security, in view of the current contemporary unwholesome activities of some criminal elements parading themselves as militants now ravaging parts of the region.
