Tinubu Celebrates Shettima at 60

….Hails His Loyalty and Service to Nigeria

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, describing him as a trusted brother, partner and patriot whose life has been defined by service, commitment and sacrifice.

In a birthday message issued on Tuesday, Tinubu extended his congratulations to Shettima’s wife, Nana, his children, family members and political associates, while celebrating the Vice President’s milestone and contributions to Borno State and Nigeria.

The President commended Shettima’s distinguished career in banking and his years of public service, first as Governor of Borno State and subsequently as Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Tinubu said Shettima had demonstrated courage, diligence, compassion and a strong commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians in both capacities.

He particularly praised the Vice President’s loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), his support for the administration and his dedication to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to the President, Shettima’s role as Chairman of the National Economic Council has been marked by purposeful leadership in coordinating economic policies and promoting collaboration between the Federal Government and sub-national governments.

Tinubu also commended the Vice President’s respect for constitutional governance, democratic institutions, dialogue and consultation, saying these qualities had contributed to strengthening good governance.

“As a trusted partner, his loyalty, wisdom and sense of duty have remained invaluable to the administration,” Tinubu said.

The President expressed appreciation to Shettima for his steadfast support and partnership as the administration continues its efforts to deliver the promises of the Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians.

He expressed confidence that both leaders would continue working together to make meaningful progress towards building the Nigeria of their dreams.

“On behalf of the Federal Government, I again congratulate Vice President Shettima on this milestone, and I pray that Almighty Allah will continue to guide, protect, and strengthen him,” Tinubu said.

He further prayed for wisdom, good health and many more years of purposeful service to Nigeria for the Vice President.
