FG establishes Nigeria House Davos ahead of World Economic Forum 2026
The Federal Government has announced the establishment of Nigeria House Davos ahead of the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026, scheduled to hold from January 19 to 23 in Davos, Switzerland.
The initiative marks Nigeria’s first official National House on the Davos Promenade and is aimed at projecting the country’s economic reforms, investment readiness, institutional capacity and cultural identity on a global platform. It is expected to strengthen foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows, deepen strategic partnerships and enhance Nigeria’s global economic standing in line with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to the government, Nigeria House Davos is being delivered through a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) involving key ministries, including the Federal Ministries of Industry, Trade and Investment; Finance; and Foreign Affairs, alongside private sector stakeholders. Eviola & Co Integrated Services Ltd is serving as the lead coordinating and executing organisation, in consortium with Lex-Con Advisory Services Ltd and UFAM Services Nigeria Ltd, with support from international technical and delivery partners.
The platform will function as a sovereign convening space for ministerial engagements, high-level roundtables, policy dialogues, investment meetings, cultural diplomacy and strategic bilateral discussions throughout the WEF meeting.
Its five-day programme will focus on key thematic areas such as solid minerals and mining value chains; trade infrastructure and agriculture; climate investment, energy and environmental sustainability; digital trade and technology; creative economy and cultural exports; as well as cross-sector convergence. Finance, legislation, investment security and investor assurance are expected to cut across all discussions.
For decades, several countries and global corporations have used Davos Houses as tools for economic diplomacy, soft power and global influence. With the launch of Nigeria House Davos, the Federal Government said Nigeria is positioning itself to engage global decision-makers directly and present its economic narrative from its own perspective as a reform-driven economy open to investment and partnerships.
The Presidency has called on relevant public institutions, the private sector, development finance institutions and international partners to participate strategically to ensure a coordinated and impactful Nigerian presence at Davos.
The government noted that Nigeria House Davos underscores the country’s confidence, ambition and readiness to engage the global community with clarity, credibility and purpose.
