Eid-el-Fitr: NDLEA Boss Marwa Urges Compassion, Discipline, Drug-Free Living

The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mohamed Buba Marwa, has extended warm greetings to Nigerians on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, calling for renewed commitment to unity, discipline and a drug-free society.

In his goodwill message marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Marwa described Eid as a period of joy, reflection and gratitude.

He urged citizens to embrace the values of compassion, self-discipline and love cultivated during the fasting season.

The NDLEA boss expressed hope that the lessons learned during Ramadan would inspire individuals and communities to contribute positively towards building a safer and stronger nation, free from the dangers of drug abuse.

He further encouraged Nigerians to celebrate responsibly while prioritising safety, stressing the importance of collective effort in sustaining peace and social well-being.

“Barka da Sallah,” he said, wishing all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful celebration.
