Ebiraland Youths Endorse Dr. Hope Omeiza for House of Representatives Seat

Youths across Ebiraland, under the umbrella of Ebira Youth Connect (EYC), have declared their support for Dr. Hope Omeiza’s aspiration to represent the Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

In a statement issued by the group’s Secretary, Ohida Simpa Abdulrazak, the youths described Dr. Omeiza as “a beacon of transformation and purpose,” stressing the need for leadership anchored on integrity, compassion, service, and measurable impact.

The group noted that Dr. Omeiza’s background as a seasoned medical doctor, combined with his political and social networks, makes him well-qualified to represent the constituency effectively.

They highlighted his contributions to healthcare and humanitarian services, stating that his medical outreach programmes and personal interventions have positively impacted many lives by restoring health and dignity.

EYC also commended his role as Chief Executive Officer of Vanguard Against Drugs and Substance Abuse, where he has led advocacy efforts and collaborated with key institutions, including the NDLEA and human rights organisations, to combat drug abuse.

According to the group, Dr. Omeiza’s grassroots engagement across communities in the constituency demonstrates his deep understanding of the people’s needs and his readiness to serve.

The youths further emphasized his vision of building a healthier, safer, and more empowered society, describing him as the most suitable candidate for the position.

“We proudly stand behind his candidacy in recognition of his track record, dedication to service, and commitment to community development,” the statement added.
