Barrow To Be Inaugurated In Senegal

Gambian President Elect Adama Barrow has declared that his inauguration ceremony is now to take place at the Gambian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal.

Barrow took to his Twitter handle; @Adama_barrow on Thursday to declare his presidential inauguration.

“I would like to inform you that the Inauguration Ceremony is going to take place at the Gambian Embassy in Dakar, Senegal. #Gambia”

In previous tweets he had stated: “My dearest Gambians — the presidency of Yahya Jammeh is officially over. The new era of Gambia is here at last. #NewGambia”

“I will be residing in Dakar, the Republic of Senegal until the Inauguration Day on the 19 January 2017. #Gambia #Senegal.” He stated.
