PENPUSHING PLATFORM ANNIVERSARY DAZZLES WORLD
The maiden edition of penpushing platform, a social media network on Wednesday recorded a huge success with participation of over 600 participants who came to grace the epoch making event.
The ceremony which concise with the birthday of the founder, Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji was attended by larger number of members of the platform and other dignatories in the society.
In attendance at the event held at the multi-million naira marquee events centre at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Abeokuta include wife of former President, Mrs Bola Obasanjo, Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun, represented by his Chief of Staff,Iyalode of Yorubaland, Chief (Mrs) Alaba Lawson, Kabiyesi Olufemi Ogunleye, Prof Oye Ibidapo-Obe(Guest Lecturer), Chief Ousegun Osoba,represented by Hon Kunle Adeyemi(former member House of Representatives.
Also in attendance include, Dr Niran Malaolu, Prof Tope Popoola who flew in from United States of America to attend, Folu Olamiti, Demola Badejo, Yetunde Kujore, Modupe Adekunle, Benjamin Ogunmodede,Toun Okewale,Tope Adaramola, Peju Osoba, Lekan Alabi,Sarafa Ishola,Sola Adeyemi,Rev Lawrence Achudume,Gbenga Gbesan, Eddy Aina,Tunde Oladunjoye, Wale Adedayo, Abimbola Oyeyemi,representing Ogun State Commissioner of Police.

The well packaged colourful ceremony also attracted participation of professional bodies,which include Nigeria Medical Association, Chambers of Commerce, Asuss, Civill Society Groups, Trade Union Congress, Students of both tertiary and secondary institutions,Nigeria Police,Nigeria Customs Service,Ogun State Vigilante Services, National Youth Service Corps, Nigeria Union of Journalists,Association of Retied Heads of Service/Permanent Secretaries among others.
The event recorded a drama presentation with focus on the relevance of social media which was packaged by Mr Latin thearter group,as well as music concert provided by Fitilah Entertainment.
