Yuletide Season: CP Reads Riot Act To Criminals, Leads Operation Stop and Search

The Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State Command, Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson has read riot act to criminals across the state as operation flush out criminals and their activities has started.
The operation which will last for two weeks covering the period of Christmas celebration will enable the residents and visitors to experience a hitch free yuletide season in the state.
While addressing various police units in the command, Ebrimson urged the officer to be at alert and just the confidence reposed on them by the people, adding that he himself would lead a section of the team in the metropolis.
“This is part of our Operation Puff Adder.We want to give a very particular attention for a period of two weeks to enable us flush out the kidnappers, the cultists, armed robbers and others who have made the people of Ogun State not sleep well.
“This is the essence of the operation, and at the end of the operation, we are going to showcase our achievements in terms of arrest made, in terms of arms recovered, in terms of stolen vehicles recovered, and any other incriminating items that we may have stormed on this operation.
“This is because it is going to anchor on visibility high physical policing combined with stop and search, added with Aberdeen system. So that we can give a wide coverage of the entire metro. As I am speaking now, the same operation is going on at other area command.
“We are going to sediment the operation in metro, I will lead a particular team, my DC Operation will lead, the Squadron Commander will lead, so that simultaneously the entire metro is covered in one place.
“The message I have for the people is that police is going to give the people better service delivery. If I, Commissioner of Police can go out and patrol, it will be a morale booster to my men, it will also send a warning signal to criminals that a Sheriff has arrived.”
