VETERAN MOVIE ACTOR,’PASTOR AJIDARA’ DOWN WITH KIDNEY AILMENT, NEEDS N12MILLION FOR TRANSPLANT
A veteran movie actor and founding leader of Thearter Art and Movie Producers Association of Nigeria,(TAMPAN),Samuel Adesanya popularly called Pastor Ajidara is down with kidney ailment.
The family said the household name artise who is a retiree of Ogun State Judiciary is in urgent need of N12million for a transplant operation,but ironically,the government is owing him N4million gratuity.
He retired from the service on July 2,2015 but yet to get the payment,as at the time he critically fell ill
In an interview,the wife of the ailing actor,Atinuke Adesanya who sat beside her husband while on hospital admission said Ajidara problem started shortly after an auto crash in 2012.
According to her, the family breadwinner was on the fateful going to Sagamu to resume work, when the auto crash occurred and was subsequently admitted at a private hospital,adding that after few days on admission,investigation showed that he started urinating blood.
She added further that, her hubby who is the incumbent Governor of Ogun State Chapter of Tampan, was thereafter refered to Federal Medical Centre,Abeokuta,where he was admitted.
The wife explained that,the 62 years old theater practitioner after months of medication was discharged and placed on drugs as out-patient,which he was using religiously until February 8,when his health suddenly deteriorated and had to be rushed back to Federal Medical Centre,Abeokuta.
She said,at the hospital, it was a shocking news,when medical examination showed that,the two kidneys had being severely damaged,and has to start dialysis treatment.
The dialysis treatment,the wife said started immediately at a cost of N120,000 per session,while this was being carried out thrice in a week,just as she lamented that as at the time of filing this report ,the Doctor declared that he would need transplant to fully recovered.
In tears, the wife said, Doctor said the transplant operation will cost sum of N12million,which the family could not raise,having spent huge sum of money on the ailment since 2012 when it was discovered.
She passionately appealed to good Samaritans across the globe to come to the aid of the dying breadwinner of the family, who was fond of putting smiles on faces people through his role in the theater world.
In the same vein,the worried wife called on Ogun State Government to pay the outstanding N4million gratuity of her husband,which she said if paid,would serve meaningful purpose on her husband plight.
She disclosed that, for financial assistance, an account has beign opened to save the life of her husband. The account is opened with Atinuke Adesanya at Skyebank 1761765273.

In a related development, a notable member of the association,Bolaji Amusan,popullarly called Mr Latin has raised his voice in calling on well-meaning Nigerians across the world and fans of the professional body,to assist on the project to make life worth living for the ailing actor.
The concern comedian made the appeal while speaking with our reporter,begging that we should not fold our hands to loose the veteran actor,who has continued to contribute immensely to the positive growth of the entertainment industry.
