Tinubu donate to late comedian’s family ‘Baba Sala’

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) has made financial donation to the family of Moses Adejumo, veteran Yoruba comedian, popular called Baba Sala, towards the burial of the late comedian, who died at the age of 82.

The APC leader who made the monetary donation through Hon Moshood Salvador, chieftain of the party and Director General Buhari/Osinbajo campaign organization, Lagos State said that Baba Sala needed to be appreciated for his worthy contribution to the entertainment industry.

Salvador while presenting the money to Reverend Bamidele Adejumo on behalf of Baba Sala’s family, extolled the virtues of the late elder statesman, noting that anyone who had watched the performance of the veteran comedian would know that he had left a lasting legacy which upcoming comedians and entertainers should emulate, pointing out that he would be greatly missed by Nigerians and Yoruba people in particular.

Baba Sala died on October 7 at his Ilesa home after suffering a stroke and was buried within the week in his country home at Ilesha, Osun State, with numerous artistes, actors and actresses, dignitaries like Chief Jimoh Aliu, Chief Lere Paimo (Eda Onileola) on ground to pay their last respect.
