Soldiers takes over roads leading to Nnamdi Kanu’s home
With two weeks to the funeral of the parents of the leader of the
proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, fully arned
soldiers have blocked all roads leading to his family compound in
Afaraukwu, Abia State.
Kanu’s parents, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and his wife, Ugoeze Sally Kanu, are due to be buried later this month.
There have been pronouncements by IPOB that Kanu, who fled the country during his trial, will be around for the burial.
Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, confirmed the development.
