Rep Member Condemns Killing of Policeman, Motorcyclist in Ado
… Charges Security to Bring Perpetrators to Justice
The Honourable Member representing Ado/Ogbadigbo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo, has condemned the killing of a policeman and a motorcyclist in Ado Local Government of Benue State.
Dr. Ottah Agbo in a statement by his Media Adviser, Mr. Andrew Agbese, said it is unacceptable for such criminal acts to happen in any part of his constituency given the efforts made by the Benue State Government and critical stakeholders to secure Ado, and create peaceful coexistence amongst the people.
He described the killings as unwarranted and unfortunate, saying it is sad that the peaceful atmosphere prevailing in Ado has been jolted by the killing of the policeman and the motorcyclist.
Dr. Ottah Agbo, who is the chairman of the House of Representatives committee on Narcotic Drugs, called on security agencies to investigate the killings and bring those involved to book.
He said the perpetrators are barefaced criminals who are emboldened by narcotic drug addictions and urged government at all levels to collaborate with his committee to wage concerted war against the menace!
He commiserated with the families of the two , the Nigeria Police, Benue State Government and the people of Ado for the loss and expressed hope that those behind the killings will not get away with their criminal acts.
The Ozigizaga and Moving Train of Enone politics urged the people to be vigilant and report suspicious acts, movements and strange faces in Ado to the relevant security agencies.
