Religious leaders chide Sowore and Falana over misleading reports.

Following the growing concerns over the activities of Mr Omoyele Sowore after his release from the department of state security custody, some religious leaders under the auspices of Forum of Nigerian Presbyterian ministry has described as the height of wickedness unpatriotism, the activities of Mr. Sowore after his release.
The Forum president , Bishop Abel Tasman wondered why Mr Sowore would embark on holding meetings immediately after his release against National Security.
Hear him” to my greatest shock, instead of reunite with family and friends , Mr Omoyele Sowore was deep neck into meetings where plots on how to overthrow the current administration were discussed”
Our worry is predicated on why Mr. Sowore’s lawyer does not guide his client appropriately. Instead they are more bent on media blackmail, intimidation and smear campaign against the Nigerian state particularly the department of state security.
The religious leaders said Nigerians should focus on unity and desist from promoting narratives that will set the nation against each other.
Commenting on the rearrest of Mr Omoyele Sowore, Bishop Abel Tasman said as representatives of the clergy in court as observers, he can confirm that Sowore’s rearrest was done outside the premises of the court. He also confirmed that the trending video was misleading and wondered why some people are bent on causing disaffection. He urged the department of state security to always tour the path of justice going forward Inspite of media bias.
Hear him” the rearrest of Mr Omoyele Sowore is the best decision in the circumstance, because his actions immediately after his release heightened anxiety of the masses and posed a great uncertainty for National Security.
The Bishop urged the federal government not to go outside the law in the process of ensuring National Security.
