President Tinubu meets Olubadan Ladoja at Presidential Villa

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday held a meeting with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The closed-door meeting brought together the President and the foremost traditional ruler of Ibadanland to discuss issues of mutual interest, including national unity, traditional institution matters, and development initiatives affecting Oyo State and the South-West region.

Oba Ladoja’s visit underscores the continued engagement between the Federal Government and traditional rulers, who play critical roles in grassroots governance, peacebuilding, and socio-economic development.

Although details of the discussions were not made public, the meeting is seen as part of President Tinubu’s broader consultations with key stakeholders across the country as his administration advances its reform agenda.

The Olubadan was accompanied by members of his entourage, while senior government officials were also present at the Presidential Villa during the meeting.
