PMADIF Congratulates Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies on Appointment as NACLFON National Matron
The Prof Mercy Ade-Davies International Foundation (PMADIF) has congratulated Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies, a former presidential candidate, on her appointment as National Matron of the APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON) and its Diaspora chapter.
In a press release issued in Abuja, PMADIF described the appointment as a recognition of Adesanya-Davies’ longstanding contributions to leadership, education, and national development.
Her formal emergence as Matron followed a courtesy visit by a NACLFON delegation to her office in Port Harcourt on April 21, 2026.
The delegation, led by Lucky Aroh, commended her record as an academic, cleric, and public figure, highlighting her commitment to youth and women empowerment, as well as faith-based leadership.
PMADIF also joined the United Nations Positive Livelihood Award Centre (UN-POLAC) in celebrating Adesanya-Davies, who currently serves as its Peace Consul and Secretary-General of the Board of Trustees.
The organization praised her dedication to promoting unity, justice, and inclusive governance.
According to the foundation, her new role within NACLFON reflects her growing influence across political and religious spheres.
It noted that her leadership continues to advance advocacy in areas such as peace education, interfaith harmony, and civic engagement.
PMADIF reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with leaders and institutions to promote sustainable development, peacebuilding, and social inclusion across Nigeria and beyond.
It also called on stakeholders in government, civil society, and religious bodies to support leaders who contribute to national cohesion and development.
