Pictures: Buhari presides over emergency Security Council Meeting in Abuja

President Muhammadu Buhari has presided over an emergency Security Council Meeting, the last for 2021 at the State House, Abuja.

At the meeting were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Minister of Defence, Maj Gen Bashir Salihi Magashi (retd); Service Chiefs, IG of Police and other heads of security agencies.

The president presided over the security council meeting barely a day on arriving from an official visit to Maiduguri, Borno State.

Borno has been the theatre of Boko Haram insurgents base, where they have displayed millions of residents and killed many.
