PDP Crisis: Bamgbose Tasks Remi Bakare, Four Others To Appear Before Disciplinary Committee

For amicably resolution, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogun State chapter has granted an extension to Dr. Remi Bakare and four other members recently suspended to appear before the Party Disciplinary Committee headed by Hon. Bola Odumosu.
This extension is to further demonstrate its resolve to have an all inclusive PDP, and in ensuring peaceful resolution of their issues with the party, instead of taking action that can possibly divide or embarrass the party.
This was made known in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta by the party state Chairman, Chief Samson Bamgbose on Tuesday.
The statement read: “The news of purported suspension of Chief Samson Bamgbose or any member of his PDP Exco after a meeting in Lagos last weekend is laughable.
“This is effort in futility by few elements who were earlier suspended by the party for party misrepresentation, indiscipline and gross misconduct since November 2nd, 2020.They are: Leke Shittu, former state secretary; Olasunkanmi Oyejide, former state PRO; Vivian Uwaokhonye, former state legal adviser; Dr. Remi Bakare and Chief Kola Sorinola.
“They were directed to appear before the disciplinary committee headed by Hon.Bola Odumosu. The Party therefore appeal to our members and supporters to be calm as peaceful resolve to reposition the party, geniue reconciliation and oneness of PDP in Ogun state towards 2023 election is on course.
“As Futher demonstration of our resolve to have an all inclusive PDP, Dr. Remi Bakare and others have been granted extension of time to appear before the Disciplinary Committee headed by Hon Bola Odumosu for peaceful resolution of their issues with the party, instead of taking action that can possibly divide or embarrass our party.”
