Onu commends traditional ruler on sustenance of peace

The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr, Ogbonnaya Onu has commended traditional rulers for maintaining peace and sustaining development in the country.
Dr. Onu said this at the 80th birthday and celebration of 40 years on the throne of His Royal Highness, Eze Chibueze Agbo, of Izhia Ebonyi state, during the week in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi state.
Dr. Onu said the Federal Government is grateful for the immense efforts played by traditional rulers in maintaining stability in their various domains.
He thanked the Traditional council of Izhia for conferring on him the traditional title of AKAEPUECHI ONWA of Izhia as well as bestowing the honorary title of ODOZI OBODOof Izahi on President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Minister, described the monarch as a peace builder, for his efforts in maintaining peace and for being accommodative of other ethnic groups in his domain.
Earlier, the crown prince of Izahi, Prince Ndubuisi Chibueze Agbo, thanked the dignitaries for gracing the occasion and appreciated the Federal Government for its continuous policies of sustained development in the country.
