Ogun Political Party Leaders Describe Arabambi’s Suspension Order Dead On Arrival

By ABIODUN JIMOH, ABEOKUTA

Worried by the recent happening, leaders of registered political parties across board have condemned in totality the purported suspension of its leaders from Ogun State IPAC by Abayomi Arabambi, who had been earlier suspended by the two factions of the state chapter of Labour Party.

The leaders hereby urged the good people of Ogun State to disregard the outburst of Arabambi’s political frustration, adding that he should ceased parading himself as anything in IPAC.

This was contained in a joint release signed by the trio of Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday, Alhaji Moshood Adesina, and Otunba Mosuro Adebayo, on behalf of the Ogun State League of Registered Political Parties, and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta on Thursday.

They revealed that the political rascality of Arabambi, the self acclaimed IPAC Chairman of Ogun State came under a hard knock of National Chairmen of Registered Political Parties, most especially Peter Ameh, the National Chairman of IPAC on Wednesday Night.

“Leaders of political parties across board condemned in totality the purported suspension of leaders of registered political parties from Ogun State IPAC by an Arabambi, who he himself had been earlier suspended by the two factions of Ogun Labour Party, and hence should ceased parading himself as anything in IPAC.

“It’s worrisome that a questionable personality like Arabambi is still allowed as pollution to Ogun State political landscape. In the same vein, Governor Dapo Abiodun has washed his hands cleaned of Arabambi’s shenanigans.”

Moreover, they expressed that in a text message response by Kunle Somorin, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, it was clear that at no point was the governor instructed Arabambi to suspend anybody.

They quoted Somorin: “Governor Dapo Abiodun is too sophisticated to think of making Ogun State political parties leadership a puppet. Gov. Abiodun gave no such directives and doesn’t act that impulsively.”

In the dame vein, they recognised the fact that the Code of Conduct of Registered Political Parties 2019 does not permit any state officer to impose suspension on fellow members and colleagues. “We hereby confirm that the rascality of Arabambi’s pronouncement is null and void.

“The so called suspension was in the widest imagination of a drowning man called Arabambi. His coup detat against the leadership of the league of registered political parties was a colossal failure and dead on Arrival. The good people of Ogun State to disregard the outburst of Arabambi’s political frustration.

“The state league of registered political parties are resolute to bring sanity to the state political firmament by making sure that the likes of Arabambi are thrash to the dustbin of political history.”
