OGUN PDP CHIEFTAINS JOINS APC TO BOOST ADEOLA’S POLITICAL ASPIRATION AHEAD 2019 ELECTION

As 2019 general elections is gathering momentum in Ogun State, some chieftains of the troubled Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP), have  defected to All Progressives Congress,(APC) in the state.
The new decampees which include Boye Adesina(Deputy Chairman Ogun West) and Alhaji Aliu Ajibode(party leader) led large size of party members to join forces with Solomon Olalekan Adeola  group of All Progressives Congress.
Adeola  is a serving Senator representing Lagos State at the National Assembly, but an indigene of Ogun State, who is said to be eyeing Ogun State Governorship seat in 2019.
The rumoured governorship aspirant under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress,APC, is currently on state wide consultation the possibility of  running for the governorship race in Ogun State come 2019.
Adeola media aide, Kayode Odunaro also confirmed ‎this development to our correspondent on Sunday after the consultation meeting with residents of Ogun West Senatorial District where he(Adeola) hails from.

However, at the meeting, the above two leaders of Peoples Democratic Party, in company of their loyalists  declared support for  the aspiration of Adeola ahead of next political dispensation in Ogun State.

‎The leader of the delegation Boye Adesina who had earlier resigned his position as deputy chairman of the party was supported by  Ajibode, a former commissioner during the  Gbenga Daniel administration and a foremost PDP leader in the Ogun West Senatorial district.

In the same vein,  Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)  youth and women leaders in Yewa North and Yewa South local Government were in the entourage that pledged total support for  Adeola in his aspiration in Ogun State come 2019.

Speaking on behalf of the party members, Boye Adesina said the serving Senator has all what it takes to become the next governor of the state come 2019 being a true son of Yewaland who has wealth of experience in governance at both state and federal level adding that he has demonstrated all the traits of a true democrat.

Also speaking at the event, Ajibode said Adeola has on many occasions shown that he has the intellectual capacity and other wherewithal to lead a state like Ogun to a greater height .

In his response, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola thanked them for accepting to work towards achieving a greater Ogun State while he promised to improved on the socio economic welfare of the people of the State.

He added that there is need to ensure that the dividend of democracy is felt by a greater number of the people of Ogun State.

Adeola also expressed joy that many of those declaring support for him are doing so on merit irrespective of party affiliation stressing that he is of the firm believe that the task of taking the state to greater heights requires a collective effort of all citizens.
