North East: President Buhari meets service chiefs

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday met Service Chiefs in Aso Villa over the recent killing of around 100 Nigerian soldiers, when Boko Haram overran a military base at Matele, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State.

It could be recalled that Buhari said in the coming days, he will be engaging the Military and Intelligence Chiefs in extensive discussions on the next steps to be taking.

Already, Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali is scheduled to visit the Republic of Chad within the week to hold bilateral meetings with his Chadian counterpart General Daoud Yaya.
