Nancy Nathan Appointed Acting Head of Service, FCTA by Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has named Mrs. Nancy Sabanti Nathan as the Acting Head of Service for the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

Her appointment, made public on Tuesday, comes in the wake of the passing of the former Head of Service, Mrs. Grace Adayilo, who died last week.

A statement issued by Lere Olayinka, the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, confirmed that Mrs. Nathan will serve in an acting capacity until a substantive Head of Service is appointed.

Prior to this role, Mrs. Nathan held the position of Permanent Secretary at the Youth Development Secretariat of the FCTA. She had also previously served as Director of Finance and Administration in the Office of the FCT Minister before her promotion to Permanent Secretary.

The statement noted that her appointment is effective immediately.
