Mohammed Babangida Accepts BOA Chairmanship Role
Mohammed Babangida, son of former President Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, has confirmed his acceptance of the chairman role at the Bank of Agriculture (BOA).
In a statement, Babangida expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for the appointment, dismissing reports that he had declined the position as “false and malicious.”
Babangida’s team described the online claims of his rejection as a deliberate attempt to mislead the public and tarnish the President’s administration.
They assured that those responsible for spreading the false information would be investigated and brought to justice.
The statement urged Nigerians to be cautious and verify news from credible sources to prevent the spread of misinformation. Babangida’s team emphasized their commitment to transparency, accountability, and fostering unity within the nation.
