APC Strategy, Conflict Resolution Committee holds inaugural meeting in Abuja
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Strategy, Conflict Resolution, and Mobilisation Committee on Tuesday night held its inaugural meeting in Abuja.
The meeting was hosted by the committee’s chairman and Governor of Yobe State, Mala Buni, at the Yobe State Governor’s Lodge in the Federal Capital Territory.
Several prominent members of the ruling party attended the meeting, including Governors Hope Uzodimma, Siminalayi Fubara, Hyacinth Alia, Mohammed Sheriff, Umar Sani, and Biodun Oyebanji. Others present were the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle; the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola; former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; Senator Adamu Aleiro; former APC National Legal Adviser, Muiz Banire; and President Bola Tinubu’s Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs, Ibrahim Masari.

However, Governors Bassey Otu, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and Abdullahi Namadi, who are also members of the committee, were absent from the meeting.
The committee was constituted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, December 24, with the mandate to address internal conflicts within the APC and to strengthen mobilisation efforts across the country as the party seeks to consolidate unity and cohesion.
