Mangut appointed as technical adviser of Delta Force FC

Chief Coach Mangut Mbwas Ayuba have been appointed as the Acting Technical Adviser of Delta Force FC of Asaba following the departure of the former Technical Adviser Mr. Emmanuel Deutsch.

The appointment was made known by the Secretary of the Club, Sylvester Okobi who spoke on behalf of the club’s chairman, Emmanuel Chidi-Okonkwo confirmed that the management was pleased to elevate him to the head of the technical crew and urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the new position.

Chidi-Okonkwo noted that the team was delighted to have him as the acting technical adviser, having worked closely with the former technical adviser, adding that he would have learnt from the experienced Cameroonian.

He also called on the other members of the technical crew to throw their weight behind the new man as that was the only way the club would be able to achieve its set mandate which is to remain in the top flight of Nigerian football.

The Media Officer of the Club, Jude Agbeyeke reported that the Chairman of the club wished the former Technical Adviser, Mr Emmanuel Deutsch well in his future engagements, saying that the club greatly missed him, but was confident he had worked with capable lieutenants who also gave their quota towards taking the club to a safe position on the NPFL Group B table.

Mangut is his response assured that the crew would continue from where his predecessor stopped, stressing that they had a smooth working relationship with Mr. Deutsch whom they would greatly missed.

He also called on the players to remain focus on the job at hand as they prepare for a crunch tie against third placed Ifeanyi Ubah FC of Nnewi at the Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium, Nnewi on Sunday, remarking that they must be ready to give their all against one of the top teams in the NPFL Group B.
