Man Arrested For Defiling 13 Year Old Sister In Law

Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 35 year old man,Kingsley Chigbo for allegedly defiling a 13 year old girl,said to be his wife’s younger sister.
This was made known on Sunday by the Command Public Relations Officer,Abimbola Oyeyemi stating that the suspect committed the offence at 38 Asikolaye street Gasline ijoko Ota town of the state.
‘The Ogun State Police Command has arrested one Kingsley Chigbo m for defiling his wife 13yrs old younger sister’, Oyeyemi said.
The police image-maker further added that,the incident was reported to the police at Sango Ota Divisional Headquarters by Mrs Peju Osoba,the immediate past Ogun State Coordinator of Child Protection Network,CPN.
He explained that,Osoba reported that one of her staff in Ota who went for an enlightenment talk with students Of Bannis College ijoko Ota gave her the information.
Oyeyemi said,after the enlightenment talk, the little girl called the said staff to a corner and confessed to her that her elder sister’s husband has been having sex with her under duress with threat that he will kill her if she ever tell anybody.
He said,upon the report, the Divisional Police Officer of Ota Akinsola Ogunwale led detectives to the house of the suspect at No 38 Asikolaye street Gasline ijoko Ota where he was promptly arrested.
The police spokesman said when confronted by the girl, the suspect admitted committing the crime, adding that the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu has,however, ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labour Section of State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.
