Lagos Federal Lawmaker, Rep Wale Raji donates first public secondary school to Epe Community
The glamour for access to qualitative education for the riverine community in Epe Community,, Lagos State received a boost at the weekend as the Lawmaker representing Epe Federal Consistency, Rep. Wale Raji of the All Progressives Congress APC led the groundbreaking ceremony for the first public secondary school in Ward C1, Epe.
According to a statement from the lawmaker’s Office, the new secondary school, which would consist of two blocks of six classrooms each, making twelve classrooms in total represents significant investment in education infrastructure.
” Community High School, Oko-Abe, as proposed for the school, once completed, will accommodate hundreds of students from Oko-Abe, Oriba, Ito-Omu, and other neighbouring communities in the riverine area, providing them with a conducive learning environment equipped with modern facilities.
” This initiative reflects Rep. Wale Raji’s commitment to improving education and empowering the youth in the constituency” .
The statement explained that during the groundbreaking ceremony, Rep. Wale Raji expressed his gratitude to the community for their support and emphasized the importance of education in shaping a brighter future.
He reiterated his dedication to ensuring that every child in Ward C1 and across Epe Federal Constituency, has access to quality education and assured the constituents that he would continue to facilitate projects that would aid the development of the constituency.
The Lawmaker further assured that construction of the school which is expected to be completed soon and would be handed over to State Ministry of Education.
The event was attended by royal fathers, community leaders, political leaders, Officials from Lagos State Ministry Education, stakeholders, and residents who expressed their excitement and appreciation for this significant development.
