Kidnapped Fedpoly Offa graduate, Babatunde regains freedom
A Prospective Corp Member who is a graduate of Federal Polytechnic Offa, Babatunde Nurudeen has regained his freedom from kidnappers.
Babatunde regained his freedom after he was released by the abductors in the early hours of Friday.
Babatunde Nurudeen was among several individuals taken hostage while traveling in a commercial bus en route to the Ogun State National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, camp on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, the abductors of Babatunde demanded a staggering sum of ₦30 million ransom from the family for safe release.
However, a source who is a close relative of Babatunde revealed that his release was the result of a ransom paid by the families of the individuals who were kidnapped alongside him.
The source confirmed that Babatunde family did not pay any amount for the kidnappers before he was released.
