KABIYESI OGUNLEYE TO LEAD EMINENT PERSONALITIES TO GRACE PENPUSHING MAIDEN ANNUAL LECTURE

A renowned traditional ruler of Akinale Owu Kingdom in Egbaland, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye is to lead eminent personalities to grace the maiden edition of annual lecture of penpushing platform,a notable social media.

The platform with membership across the globe publishes authentic and verifiable news across the world. It presently parades 256 membership which include a number of great personalities,as well as professionals from various fields.

The 2017 planning committee Chairman, Funke Fadugba while speaking with journalists  at the end of the committee’s inaugural meeting, said the monarch was chosen as royal father of the ceremony on merit.

She added further that, the traditional ruler and a veteran journalist, was also a former General Manager Public Affairs of Nigeria Airways, whose track record remains a reference point in journalism cum public relations practice.

Fadugba, a former Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists,NUJ, Lagos Council said the anniversary is scheduled to hold in July in Abeokuta, Oguñ state ,revealing the topic of the lecture as‎ ‎ Social Media: ‘Building Parameters for Trust to Achieve Political and National Growth’.

The recently retired General Manager News and Current Affairs Raypower Fm said the former Vice-Chancellor University of Lagos, Prof Oye Ibidapo-0be has accepted to give the best treatment to the topic as the Guest Speaker.

Similarly ,the committee chairman said the Doyen of journalism, Professor Idowu Sobowale is the chairman of the occassion, who has also accepted the role.

She added that the venue of the event and other activities lined up would be made public soon,adding that  Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun is tipped to be the Special Guest of Honour
