I’m Grieved, Speechless by Hon. Adegbuyi’s Death, Says Senator Bamidele
The Senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Opeyemi Bamidele, has expressed grief over the death of a member of the State House of Assembly representing Ekiti East constituency 1, Hon Oluwajuwon Adegbuyi.
Adegbuyi,51, died on Saturday after a brief illness.
Bamidele said this in his condolences to the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi and the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Funminiyi Afuye.
Expressing that he was devastated by Adegbuyi’s demise, Bamidele said: “I express my condolences to you as a member of the Senate representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District.
“I share from the grief and colossal loss, the death of Hon. Oluwajuwon Adegbuyi has portrayed for the All Progressives Congress family in Ekiti State”.
Bamidele added that the demise of the lawmaker, had again denied Ekiti one of the finest politicians within the APC extraction, whose ingenuity and popularity had made the ruling party a darling of all in his constituency.
“I am particularly grieved and saddened that the cold hands of death could snatch away such a priceless and promising political star at this unauspicious time.
“I urge your Excellency, the State House of Assembly and the entire APC family to take succour in the fact that the departed political giant and quintessential community man lived a worthy and rewarding life in his service to humanity.
“I am particularly stunned and spellbounded by his untimely and unexpected death. By all standard and rating, Hon. Adegbuyi was a committed party loyalist and community man. He did well to uplift the standard of his people by contributing to issues that border on the people’s welfare as enshrined in the policy thrust of the ruling party in Ekiti.
“As the Director General of Governor Kayode Fayemi Campaign Council for second term, I heard the sacrificial and landmark roles he played to reenergise our party in Ekiti East and ensured victory for our party in the local government.
“Since his joining the progressive fold, he never wavered. He was steadfast, loyal and committed to the ideals and ethos of progressive politics of APC.
“I commiserate with Governor Kayode Fayemi, the Ekiti State House of Assembly, APC political family and the entire state over the death of this illustrious son.
“Though, he was taken away at a time he was serving the State and his people, but God , his creator knows the best. He sees the end from the beginning and we have no authority to query his all -knowing supernatural ability.
” pray that the good Lord shall grant him eternal rest and gives the family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the painful loss”, he stated.
