Tinubu to Headline PGF Renewed Hope Ambassadors Summit 2026 in Abuja

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to attend the 2026 Renewed Hope Ambassadors Summit organised by the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), where he will serve as Special Guest of Honour.

The summit, themed “Taking Renewed Hope to the Grassroots,” is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The high-level gathering is aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement and consolidating the Renewed Hope agenda across the country.

Vice-President Kashim Shettima will attend as Special Guest, while the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, is billed to participate as Guest of Honour.

Hosted by the PGF, the summit is strictly by invitation and is expected to attract a wide range of influential stakeholders within the ruling party and government circles.

Among those expected are members of the APC National Working Committee, principal officers of the National Assembly, former governors, and members of the Federal Executive Council.

Also anticipated at the event are heads of ministries, departments and agencies, Speakers of State Houses of Assembly, APC state executives, women and youth leaders, as well as zonal and state coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors structure.

State government delegations — including Secretaries to State Governments and commissioners overseeing Information, Youth Development, and Women Affairs — are also expected to be in attendance, alongside representatives from the private sector, civil society organisations, and development partners.

The summit is seen as a strategic platform to deepen mobilisation efforts and align party structures with the administration’s grassroots-focused development drive.
