Gov. Amosun Clears Air On Visit To Ailing Buhari In London

Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun on Monday confirmed that he visited the Nigerian President, Muhammed Buhari in London where he is currently receiving treatment over an undisclosed ailment.
It would be recalled that, there had been controversy over a picture showing Amosun and Buhari in United Kingdom,which some people described as a photoshop.
However, when Amosun was cornered at a climate change knowledge immersion workshop organised with Federal Government in conjuction with the World Bank Group inside the premises of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta to clear the air on the visit, he disclosed to journalists that he truly visited the ailing president.
His words ‘Yes it is true I visited our President in London and he is doing fine. If you ask me pointedly whether I see him or not, yes I did and that is the only thing that I can say and of course you can see. He is very well, he is okay. So I don’t know what else you want me to say’,
On situation of President when he visited, the governor said he was not in the right position to talk about his health, and how he(Buhari) is fairing,and such should be left in the hand of his spokesmen, who were already doing that.
‘I am not one of the spokespersons of Mr. President, so it will be out of place for me to talk on that. But then they are doing their job and you’ve listened to all that they have said’,the governor stressed.
