GOCOP Celebrates Information Minister Mohammed Idris at 60

The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has congratulated the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a statement jointly signed by GOCOP President Danlami Nmodu and General Secretary Sufuyan Ojeifo, the guild commended Idris’ career spanning journalism, publishing, and public service.

The association noted that the minister has demonstrated a clear approach to public communication, with an emphasis on clarity and direct engagement, particularly during periods of heightened public scrutiny.

GOCOP further highlighted that Idris’ experience across both the media and public sectors has significantly influenced his handling of information management and government messaging.

The guild wished the minister good health and many more years of service to the nation.
