Friends and associates pay Orji Kalu solidarity visit in Ikoyi prison

Some Associates and friends of Senate Chief Whip, Orji Uzor Kalu, have besieged Ikoyi Prison to pay solidarity visit to the former Abia State Governor.

Recall that few hours ago, Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High Court, Lagos, sentenced the former governor of Abia State and current Senator representing Abia South in the Red Chamber,  Orji Uzor Kalu, to 12 years’ imprisonment.

The court found him and his co-defendants guilty of the entire 39 counts filed against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

He was thereafter taken to the Ikoyi Prison to commence his sentence.
