FG, 36 State Govs. in Emergency Meeting In Abuja

The Thirty-Six (36) state governors may have been summoned to Abuja for undisclosed emergency meeting by the Presidency.

Sources close to the meeting informed Daily Dispatch that majority of the governors are already at the villa venue of the meeting.

It will be recalled that the 19 northern governors, including IG, COAS, former Military President Ibrahim Babangida, his counterpart, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto, Emir of Kano, Aliko Dangote and other top northern politicians were in an emergency meeting in Abuja yesterday.

Reasons for these emergency meetings are yet to be known.
