FEC approves 2018 budget proposal

The Federal Executive Council has approved the 2018  budget proposal.

Minister of Budget and National Planning,  Udoma Udoma, who disclosed this while addressing State House correspondents after the cabinet meeting chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari, however, did not givr details of the draft budget.

Udoma said the executive would liaise with the legislature to agree on a date the president would present the document to the National Assembly.

He said the executive had fulfilled its promise of getting the budget proposal ready in October.
