Father Demands Compensation Over Ibom Air Passenger Humiliation

The father of Comfort Emmanson, at the centre of the viral Ibom Air incident, has demanded compensation from the airline, claiming the treatment of his daughter was humiliating and tarnished the family’s image.

In a video interview, he said, “I don’t know why it happened this way. Is it because I don’t have money? They have rubbished us and destroyed our image. I’m not even myself; I don’t feel like eating. They stripped my child naked, and she didn’t steal. Compensation must be paid.”

He insisted that the airline take responsibility for the embarrassment caused, emphasising that his daughter had done nothing wrong. His remarks have since generated intense reactions on social media, with some sympathising with the family while others questioned the timing of their response.
