English Premier League: Ogun Government May Reopen Viewing Centres

There seems to be reprieved for operators of viewing centres across Ogun State as efforts are being made by the state government to reopen the centres for football lovers across the state.
It could be recalled that the state government had continually placed ban on viewing centres and other worship centres across the state due to the ravaging deadly coronavirus pandemic that has killed thousands of souls globally.
According to information from a reliable source at the Government Office. Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, it was gathered that Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun led government may reopen these centres as the long awaited English Premier League football season kick start tomorrow in United Kingdom.
The league which also had been on suspension by the UK Football Authority due to the coronavirus pandemic, after lots of meetings and deliberations will finally kick-off with a star match involving Arsenal FC of London and defending champion, Manchester City FC in the evening.
The source stated that now the government has extended the relaxation window to five workings days from Monday to Friday, there is possibility to allow these centres to start operation as long as they comply with the guidelines on social distance rule.
The source affirmed that modalities have been put in place to set out an agenda that will guide their operations to checkmate the spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic across the state.
Furthermore, the source hinted that such viewing centres would be compelled to maintain social distance with a maximum of twenty to fifty persons at a time depending on the size of the centres. Adding that any centres that violated the guideline may be forced to close down indefinitely.
