Eid-el-Kabir celebration: Edo police command assures Muslims of hitch free event
Ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the Edo State Command, Nigeria Police Force has assured Muslims and good people of the state that adequate security measures that would enhance hitch free celebration have been made.
The Commissioner of Police, Johnson Babatunde Kokumo, disclosed this in a release made available to journalists by the command public relations officer, Chidi Nwabuzor on Monday.
The Commissioner also used the occasion to felicitate with all the Muslims brothers and sisters in the state and across the country.
CP said: “The Command in light of this celebration has put in place adequate security measures in guaranteeing the security of lives and property of our Muslims fateful and the good people of Edo State.
“The Command has massively deployed officers and men of the command to the various Mosques and worship centers in ensuring a peaceful and hitch free celebration during and after the holidays.
“At this end, I wish all our Muslims fateful a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration and encourage them to call on the command room in time of distress.”
